Vision
SC has implemented a medals and awards system to:
* Publicly recognize behavior that is in support of guild goals
* Distribute valuable items to individuals to reinforce positive behavior
* Further refine our military culture and style
Medals are awarded at an officer's discretion.
Implementation Awards are displayed in a user's avatar space and must be put there by an officer.
If you have been awarded a medal, but do not see it in your avatar, contact your division CO.
If you feel that a member of your troop deserves a nomination for a particular award, let an officer know --
and be prepared to back it up!
--- COMMANDER'S AWARDS --- 
Shadow Company Distinguished Service Medal For going above and beyond in the Call of Duty in support of the guild and its members.
Twisted Chalice
For contributing to SC's RP environment and the server community. For developing and executing a RP-focused
event for the enjoyment of SC's members and the community at-large.
Commander's Hammer
To distinguish excellence and support of SC's enjoyment and conquest of raid and/or RvR (PvP) content.
Purple Heart
Awarded to those who are killed or injured while selflessly saving or protecting another. This might mean
standing up to a raid boss while everyone else escapes, or fending off an army in PvP so that your
team can flee (strategically, of course).
Silver-Tongued Fox
For a member who has had a hand in starting, sealing, or maintaining an alliance.

Longevity Medal
For recognizing loyalty and 1 year plus membership to the guild.
Exemplar's Medal
For those who embody the values of the company - honour (respect), loyalty, excellence, and have
never neglected their orders.
Key to the Vault
Awarded to those members who have dedicated themselves to providing the guild with adequate armor,
weapons, crafting resources, etc. Think 'the key to the city'.
Philanthropist's Medal
To honour the monetary donation to SC's vent server.
Exemplary Leadership Medal
Awarded to those members who have provided a wealth of knowledge to the forums to help other players
in their tasks, whether it be quest write-ups, class guides, or game functions.
Participant's Medal
For those who attend scheduled events without fail (never miss their signups), or go to great
lengths to attend events.
Good Conduct Medal
This medal is reserved for those individuals who not only perform in good conduct all of the time,
but more for those who perform with good conduct in times of distress. (Not getting picked for a
raid, losing on loot distribution, dieing a million times on a raid, etc).
Recruiting Ribbon
For successfully sponsoring another member into the guild. A successful sponsor occurs when the new
member achieves full member status.
Mercenary Spotlight Medal
For those mercenaries who have been featured in the Mercenary Spotlight.
Company Coin
Bronze (1st award), Silver (2nd award), Gold (3rd award)
Awarding placement for a formal event, such as a scheduled (on the SC calendar) group quest/adventure, PvP
tournaments, gambling tournaments, RP event, or anything that brings guildmates together that is planned
in advance and executed successfully. Bronze is awarded first, then can be "upgraded" to silver, and lastly gold.

____ CAMPAIGN RIBBONS ____ 
SC Campaign Ribbons are used to identify where and in what capacity members have served the company.
They can be used in signatures by hitting the "insert an image" button (looks like a blue + white TV)
on the text format bar and pasting in the corresponding URL.
Implementation It is a mercenary's responsibility to keep track of and properly display his/her ribbons.
1) Ribbons go in reverse chronological order, tracking your history within the company.
2) Ribbons go left - right, newest to oldest. Your current/latest division will be furthest left.
No spaces in between. 3) Ribbons go 3 across usually, 4 maximum.
4) Rows are filled top - down, ie. if there are 5 ribbons, the top line will have 3, the 2nd line will have 2.
Members are eligible to use a ribbon after residing in a division for 2 weeks+
Stars represent your highest
active position when stationed with the division,
Copper = Officer,
Silver = XO,
Gold = Captain

Currently mercenary in Aion, past officer in LoTRO, past XO in WoW, mercenary in WAR, mercenary in Vanguard
